I must admit I am pretty excited to share a charming
sweepstakes with all of you this morning. There are a lot of things I love in
life, and this sweepstake happens to incorporate two that are very near and
dear to me. First, being musicals.
Frankly, it’s hard for me to understand why anyone wouldn’t like them. Second, I like to make other people
happy… really happy… and this can be achieved by having prizes for not just one
couple, but five!
Long story short, the Westport Country Playhouse (a local
favorite) is conducting a Perfect Proposal contest in honor of their upcoming
show:
All you need to do to enter is email the following
information to marketing@westportplayhouse.org
- Names
- Phone number
- Proposal story (300 words or less)
Top 5 finalists will be chosen by a committee to receive two
complimentary tickets to the 2nd Annual Date Night event. This alone is pretty
cute. It consists of a 6:00pm pre-show hors’dourves reception catered
by Da Pietro’s, select beverages, desserts and an 8:00pm performance of the
musical I do! I do! During that evening, the winning couple will be
announced.
The winning couple receives:
- Overnight accommodations at the NEW Delamar Southport
- $100 gift certificate to Da Pietro’s Restaurant
- New Country Lexus of Westport weekend rental
- Two tickets to a Westport Country Playhouse production of
their choice

Westport Country Playhouse during the first week of the run of I do! I do! …
so pick a good one! Also, the top 5 couples chosen during the first round must
attend the Date Night event on Friday, August 13, 2010. The entire weekend package must be used by August 13, 2011.
